November’s NCS Cougar Cubs spotlights Red Ribbon Week (Nov 3–7), Veterans Day Chapel (Nov 11, 8:30 a.m.), Fall Festival (Nov 20), Stone Soup + early dismissal (Nov 21), and Thanksgiving Break (Nov 24–28). It also recaps the Storybook Character Parade and Pumpkin Contest and reminds families about Operation Christmas Child boxes due Nov 20.

October was a meaningful month at Northland, filled with memorable events, engaging learning experiences, and moments of worship and community. In addition to its core curriculum, Northland is an AP Capstone school, a distinction held by only 1,500 schools nationwide. The AP Capstone program, developed by the College Board, includes two key courses: AP Seminar and AP Research.
Northland has an impressive track record of preparing students for college. According to Dr. Berens, 100% of Northland graduates are accepted into a four-year college, a statistic that highlights the school’s commitment to academic rigor and student success.
