Parent Teacher Organization

Welcome From Korén Greco & Kristin Leard

We are looking forward to an exciting 2023/2024 school year at Northland Christian School.  As your newly elected PTO Co-Presidents, we, Korén Greco and Kristin Leard, thank you for entrusting us with this opportunity.  We are eager to serve our school community and have an exciting year planned for our students, faculty, staff, and parents.  Everything from events like Pancakes with Parents, Teacher Lunches and Appreciation, Homecoming Dinner and Dance, Science Night, Teacher/Staff Christmas Fund, Elementary P.E. Show, Special Surprises, Spiritual Renewal Day, and much more!

One of our core beliefs is that we are strongest when we stand together in community.  The success of our children’s educational journey and the growth of our community greatly relies on the time and effort we devote to nurturing it.  We are excited to have you join us at PTO meetings each month (every family is a member of the PTO!) and assist in various volunteer opportunities that will arise throughout the year.  Volunteering at PTO events helps foster a sense of community and camaraderie while directly contributing to our children’s learning environment.  Please also follow our PTO Facebook page (Northland Christian PTO) and expect emails from your child’s grade-level PTO representative. These grade-level reps will be sending emails with regular updates and volunteer opportunities and are ready to help you get involved.

Hope Darst recently released a song, “If the Lord Builds the House,” based on Psalm 127.  The song lyrics speak to what we want to achieve this year, a community built on love, faith, and cooperation, where every brick laid and every effort made is in His name and for His glory.  We have chosen Psalm 127 as our guiding scripture and theme for this school year.  This Psalm reminds us that our help and our strength only comes from the Lord. With Him as the foundation of our work, we can only thrive!

We are confident that as a PTO we can indeed build a “House” that is full of love, learning, growth, and the wisdom of the Lord.  Please plan to attend monthly meetings, volunteer in big and small ways, and together we will make memories as we build our community together.

We look forward to working with you and appreciate your support. Please reach out anytime with questions.
