About

Although each child is a unique individual, summer camp is beneficial for all kids. No matter what your child’s interests are, camp helps children develop important social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Best of all, children create memories that last a lifetime at camp.

In Robotics camp this year at Northland Christian School, campers will work with LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime, Sphero® Indi™, and Sphero® robotics platforms during the program. As a team, they will demonstrate their engineering skills by building a robot with multiple sensors and motors to overcome different obstacles. They’ll then use a Scratch based visual programming language to create computer programs that can download to their robot. Throughout the week, their team will compete to complete challenges and earn the highest score.

*Enrollment is limited to the first 20 students. Limited space available. Minimum of 10 students in each session or they will potentially be combined.

The purpose of the camp is to familiarize students who are interested in joining the drumline or are present members of the drumline, with the technical skills, knowledge factors, exercises, and music required to perform with the Lower School and Secondary Drumline during the 2026-2027 school year.

All participants will receive the music for our skill development exercises, perform music, and the information needed to successfully practice at home for the remainder of the summer to continue developing their drumming skills.

The overall goal is to prepare all the members of the 2026-2027 Lower School and Secondary Drumlines to perform at Football games and Pep Rallies at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
