Elementary Summer Reading

During the summer, Northland Elementary students participate in a summer reading program to keep their minds active!

To participate, simply log the date, title, and minutes read for each child. A reading log is attached for your convenience. Turn those into Mrs. Blossom when we return back to school in the fall.

The dates for the Summer Reading Program start before summer, so students can get a jump start. The Summer Reading Program started on Monday, May 20, 2019 and will end on Friday, August 9, 2019. Early in the fall, during chapel, we will recognize students who participated in the Summer Reading Program. Parents will receive an email letting them know the exact date and time. Students who read at least 300 minutes during the summer will be recognized with a certificate and the student in each grade level with the most minutes logged will receive a reading medal and a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble!

Happy reading!
