Athletic Director James Van Hook, is pleased to make the following announcement regarding coach staffing for the 2018-19 school year:

Aimee Langlois
HS Head Volleyball coach

Coach Aimee Langlois is starting her first season as Head Volleyball Coach for Northland Christian School. Previously, she was Junior Varsity Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Cypress Falls High School in Cypress, TX.  Before coaching at the 6A level, she was the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy, where she oversaw the volleyball program 6th-12th grade.

Coach Langlois is currently coaching club volleyball at TAV Houston. Prior to TAV, she coached at Xcel Volleyball Club for over 7 years. Between coaching high school and club, she is going on her tenth year of coaching volleyball.

She began her volleyball career at Tarkington High School, where she was a four-year letterman as an outside hitter/ds/setter and captain. She played club volleyball at Club Texas and Willowbrook for 6 years. After high school, she received a full scholarship to play collegiate volleyball at Galveston College where she was nationally ranked in aces and assists. After Galveston, she transferred to Sam Houston State University to complete her Bachelor's degree in Health Education with a minor in Kinesiology.

Volleyball is her passion and she loves coaching the game while teaching life lessons to her players.

Outside of Volleyball, Coach Langlois is married to her husband, Jared, and they have a beautiful baby girl named Adaline. They love to hang out with family, friends, and going to the Frio River. Attending church and serving the community are very important to her.

Coaching philosophy: Character is more important than talent. I strive to teach the love of the game and to create well rounded players on the court, in the classroom and community. My goal is to enhance their volleyball skills, while developing their leadership, self-discipline and work ethic.

Elizabeth Bohannon
HS Head Girls' Basketball coach, HS Head Track coach

Elizabeth Bohannon has been an excellent teacher and coach at Northland Christian for 5 years. In that time, she has proven herself as a talented and dedicated coach while coaching volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis at both the middle school and high school levels.

We are excited to announce that "Coach Bo" will be stepping into new roles as the High School Head Girls' Basketball coach, and the High School Head Track Coach.

Her experience, organization, and dedication will seek to take these two programs to new heights.
