Why Houston?
Northland is located in Houston, Texas, the fourth largest city in the United States and home to major corporations and medical centers. Houston is a hub for key industries—technology, oil and gas, banking and finance, law, and medicine—and our city has world-renowned fine arts, athletics and academic institutions, including Rice University, currently ranked #17 in national universities. Houston is also a travel hub with two major airports, including George Bush International Airport, and is easily accessible by most major international cities.
Northland is located only 15 miles from George Bush International Airport, 20 miles from Downtown Houston, and only 70 miles from Galveston. We are about 3 hours away from three other major cities: Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin.
Houston is one of the most international and diverse places in America, with countless opportunities for students to study, explore new activities, prepare for university, and connect to potential future employers. Northland graduates attend universities from the west coast to the east coast and every place in between.
