Pre-K Program Overview

Northland’s youngest students receive an education that is nurturing and aimed at growth. In our PK3 program, the curriculum is designed to encourage our little ones to investigate, explore, and discover everyday life experiences as they begin their academic journey.

Our PK4 program prepares students to transition to their first year of formal learning, through specially tailored learning experiences designed to meet the needs of each student socially, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, and physically. Preschool students also get to strengthen their bodies through a formal physical education program daily, led by highly qualified coaches, in addition to library and field experiences.

Outcomes include the development of dispositions important to lifelong learning—initiative, curiosity, trust, confidence, independence, responsibility, and divergent thinking. As children progress through the program, the emphasis is on Kindergarten-readiness skills in preparation for the elementary program.
