My favorite scripture related to serving at Northland is Colossians 3:23. ‘Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.’ ”
The Ross family began their relationship with Northland in 2010 when their daughter Ashley started her eighth-grade year and the following year their son Brandt also joined the Northland family as a sixth grader. Ashley has been a cheerleader and choir member all five years at Northland, is involved in student council and is playing every sport she can as a senior. Brandt is a member of the Northland debate team, student council and choir. The Family feels blessed to watch Ashley and Brandt develop friends, mature and learn in the Northland community.
Curt’s wife, Sherri, is a devoted mom and Northland volunteer, and they celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2013. He enjoys watching how passionate she is for the school, including chaperoning the eighth-grade Boston trip, working in the concession stand at football games and taking pictures of the cheer squad. Curt states, “Sherri and I cherish our family’s affiliation with Northland and we are particularly grateful for the relationship with God and the friendships our children have developed as they have grown.”
