 The Christian Council again hosted a successful drive for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. This was the second drive of the year, and again, there was much excitement in the air. There is nothing boring about free snacks, hydrates, a mod T-shirt, needles, missing classes, and most importantly, and literally, saving lives.
This drive collected 53 donations, which is 159 lives saved! This is a wonderful amount considering how many of our students attend summer short-term mission trips to countries that make one ineligible to donate for one full year. Glory to God for lives saves. Thank you Jesus for shedding all your blood for our sins. May we always remember that: “without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins.” (Hebrews 9:22)
Thank you to the Christian Council for again showing top-notch organization, and by doing so, making this a truly student-led event.
