Father God, we praise you for a new season! All around us is evidence, of not only your existence, but that you are a good God. You are the creator of all we can see, and mostly what we cannot see. Even in an urban world we are immersed in your creative presence. We love you and bless you. Your kindness is felt and needed. We are desperate for you and for our promised Salvation through your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we are amazed by you.
Lord, as we enter a much needed season of rest, we celebrate the gift of peace that only you can provide. Only you can provide the order we seek in a world of chaos. You are a God of order. Jesus, your reign and throne are eternal, never to be disturbed or shaken. You are very much in charge and very much near to our individual needs. You really do care and listen, more than we will ever know. Help us be still and trust you.
Jesus, help us breathe you in this new season and be reminded of your proven love for us. Open our eyes to see the world the way you see the world. Remind us that the most mundane of moments in everyday life hold the potential of being supernatural, if we only pay attention to the Spirit's leading. All around us are people who somehow find reason to live without the hope of a Savior. May we win them over not with words, but with how we live and love. May we show them, not through judgment, but through example, how to be the hands and feet of Christ. May we thank our way to our eternal home in heaven!
Jesus, we thank you for your instrument, Northland Christian School. You are moving freely in this place. Do not pass us by, as we seek to join you in what you are doing on this campus and in this great city. We seek your wisdom in how to continue going deeper with you as a school and as individual believers. We belong to you, work for you, and live for you.
Father, we ask for your protection over us during our annual Spring Break. Our family will be scattered all around the globe. Help us seek your face and draw near to you during our rest. Help us make wise decisions that honor you. Please love on those among us who are struggling with illness, seeking employment, and healing from physical, and even relational wounds. Rain healing on our family!
We thank you for the precious and powerful gift of prayer. We thank you for what you have done and what you will do through NCS.
Jesus, we lay all these requests at your feet with great expectation that you listen, care, and act.
