 Northwest Assistance Ministries – www.namonline.org - has been serving the needy in Houston since 1983 and is a model of spiritual unity as multiple area congregations pool their resources to minister to those who need to experience the love of Christ.
It just makes sense for NCS to serve NAM as Northland is also a model of spiritual unity, as we are a campus of many different churches united under the banner of Christ.
This year, as in many years in the past, Northland families again donated non-perishable foods to help restock the NAM Food Pantry for the holiday season. NCS gave almost 1700 pounds of food and enough cash donations to purchase 20 frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving.
I am consistently amazed and humbled by the generous hearts among the Northland family and serving NAM is an easy decision, as they sincerely desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Houston, TX.
