All School Chapel
Friday, October 3, 2008

The air was energized for Homecoming, so we took advantage of the excitement by joining the elementary
and secondary campus for the annual All School Chapel service. Needless to say, this is a large-scale event that involved the transportation of the whole secondary student body to the Bammel Worship Center. I was honored to lead the worship and the scene was inspirational.Rarely is the entire student body together under one roof, let alone to worship God together. The singing was pure and beautiful. The elementary children sat close and were so well-behaved.Compliments were given from Roger Gragert of Bammel on how clean the facility was following the event.

So much encouragement has been offered from those present for this special occasion. The service created a since of pride in Northland and a thankful heart to God for His faithfulness through the years in using Northland as His instrument of education and spiritual growth.A service project was even introduced to all the students.Encouragement cards will be distributed in the community to those who don't get thanked often enough for their valuable service in the community (Cards are still available from Rich Reaves, Campus Minister).

We thank you, Jesus, for the opportunity and privilege you gave us to worship you as one united body of Christ!  We will treasure such moments!
