This year I had the privilege of attending NCS Mother & Daughter dinner with my 6th grader, Shelby. This year’s event was held at Northgate Country Club and was hosted by Genie Bolt, PTO Representative for Spiritual Life.  Mrs. Bolt graciously emceed the event and sponsored our guest speaker, Susan O’Donnell, KSBJ radio personality.  We could hardly contain our laughter from the hysterically funny stories told by Mrs. O’Donnell. 

Aside from the entertainment the meal was so delectable that I caught Shelby sneaking food off my plate, and she is a picky eater! This event will forever go into our annual list of events we look forward to. The event is also a way to witness firsthand the creativity of some of the moms and daughters, in creating centerpieces and table décor. Each table had its own theme from candy to fishbowls.  It was such a beautiful sight, mothers and daughters together, sharing memories, laughter, prayers, and most of all making memories.

Thank you for all involved with bringing the NCS families closer together. At this event you truly witness the words put into action “In His Name”.
