DIAPER DONATION for CareNet Pregnancy Center
Thank You from CareNet
The staff and volunteers at Care Net Pregnancy Center of Northwest Houston are so excited and grateful to the student body at Northland Christian School for your overwhelming donation of diapers during February! God used your generosity and kindness to abundantly meet our need with 19,000 diapers, which required three mini-van trips to transport! Another huge blessing of the day was to watch your enthusiasm as you made trip after trip, with armloads of diapers, out to the parking lot. It was such an exciting day, and a great opportunity to see the heart of the NCS student body.
The diapers will be used at Care Net, over the next several months, to meet the very real needs of women and families in our community. When girls and women come to us, they are often feeling scared and overwhelmed by the thought of providing for a new baby. The mission God has given us is to show them His love, share the truth with them about pregnancy and human life, and also help them to get the things they will need for a baby. Our educational outreach ministry at Care Net, called the Mercy Project, helps women and men by preparing them to be good parents, and helping them to earn baby items at the same time! Each class that they attend through the Mercy Project provides them with credits that they can spend on cribs, baby clothes, and our most popular item: diapers!
We can’t thank your student body enough! The mountain of diapers we received from you is such a blessing to us, because it will mean so much to the women and families we serve.
