Thanks to a successful 2011 Black & Gold Gala, the PTO helped to raise more than $200,000.

Parents, there are great opportunities to get involved!
Volunteer Registration
Over the summer at the Elementary Campus, over $109,000 was spent on new furniture for the classrooms and the Welcome Center.  This included the cost of removing the old and installing the new. $19,265 was designated for Preschool and Elementary School Curriculum.

The Secondary Campus benefited from a new fiber optics system that  replaced the unreliable cable internet connection, at a cost of $27,250.  A new Edge Switch Installation cost approximately $34,000 bringing the total amount spent on these projects to over $190,000.

It has been proposed that the remaining funds (approximately $10,000) be applied as an initial investment in a Capital Improvement Fund in the fall.

The PTO supports the NCS staff by:
-  Organizing parent donations for staff Christmas Fund
-  Providing staff appreciation lunches
-  Supplying bottled water and healthy snacks for teacher workrooms
-  Providing resources for classrooms & funding professional development

The PTO supports NCS families by:
-  Providing social and spiritual development at annual parent/child events
-  Providing orientation and mentoring to new families
-  Communicating with parents through Grade Level Representatives
-  Hosting Graduation and Honor Society receptions
-  Assisting with the PE Show & Grandparent's Day, Homecoming Dinner &
Dance, Middle School Social, Barnes & Noble Event
