On Friday, March 10th, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade music classes traveled to Paradise Springs Retirement Home to perform Western songs and square dances for the residents. The students sang three songs celebrating Texas and performed four square dances and a line dance! The residents thoroughly enjoyed the students' smiles and dances and many of them were clapping and singing along to "God Bless America" and "Happy Days are Here Again". A rousing rendition of "Cotton Eyed Joe" was followed by visits with the residents. The students let Christ's light shine in their respect, kindness, and joy. Several residents commented on the students' behavior and dancing ability and asked for us to return soon. Northland brought the RODEO to Paradise Springs! Yee-haw y'all!
