Dear Elementary Parents,

We are so excited that our new elementary curriculum has arrived!  The teachers have been in intensive training sessions for the past eight days.  They are excited to discover how enjoyable and interactive our new lessons are going to be, and they cannot wait to share these with the students.

You received an email several days ago announcing the new curriculum information that is posted on our website.  If you have not had the opportunity to view this, please take a moment to do so.  It is exciting to see what our children will be learning this year. 

If you would like to view the new curriculum before school starts, please come by the elementary Welcome Center during summer office hours.  Hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00-4:00 and Friday 9:00-12:00.  We will be happy to assist you.

You may view student copies of Math Expressions, Bible, and Fluency First for kindergarten.  For first and second grades you will see Math Expressions, Bible, Fluency First, Spelling and Vocabulary, and English and Writing.  For third grade you will want to look at the Bible samples, Fluency First, Spelling and Vocabulary, and English and Writing.  Fourth and fifth grade samples include student copies of Spelling and Vocabulary and English and Writing.

If you are unable to come by the school during the next couple of weeks but would still like to preview the curriculum, we will have a booth set up in the gym during Open House on Tuesday, August 21.  We would like for everyone to have an opportunity to see what great things are in store for our kids!
