Northland Christian School competed in the TCEA Area Robotics Competition on Saturday, January 8. Four high school teams competed in the advanced arena competition and two middle school teams competed in the intermediate arena. Each team had to build a robot and program it to accomplish several tasks. Points were awarded for each task completed. All of the high school teams finished in the top 50% of the teams represented. One of the middle school teams (Brandon Hunkin, Luke Kubosh, Garrett Purcell, and Bobby Stewart) placed 4th overall and qualified Northland Christian School to take a team to the state TCEA Robotics competition for middle school. That will take place on April 9 at Angelo State University.
