Northland Christian School Profile

We are on a mission at Northland Christian School.

Our mission is for students to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially for the glory of God.
- Students come to know Christ and walk in His ways.
- Students maximize academic potential.
- Students develop and care for their body.
- Students understand their own worth and show respect and compassion for others.

                                      Daniel Woods, Head of School
One of my favorite portions of scripture is Psalm 127.

Children are a heritage of the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Psalm 127:3

Children are a blessing and they represent the next generation. This generation of young people will be challenged spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially in ways that they have yet to discover. Our goal is to equip our students for these challenges.

We consider it a privilege to assist in the equipping, engaging and encouraging of today’s youth. We understand that there are many educational choices for young people today. As you consider your options, may we suggest that you look at the five P’s at Northland. The five P’s consist of the People, Places, Policies, Procedures and Programs. If our desires concur with yours, relative to these areas, then Northland may be the best place for your child.

People – As you consider NCS, please take some time to visit with a few of the people that will be working with your child on a day-to-day basis. Hear their heart and put your finger on the pulse of what NCS is all about. We believe our faculty and staff are some of the brightest and best in education today. Remember that quality people produce quality results.

Places – Take a tour of our campuses. Many recent updates have been completed at both the elementary and secondary level.

Policies & Procedures – Ask for a copy of our student handbook and review our mission and philosophy in regards to academic and behavioral standards of our adults and students. We believe that there must be discipline, order, and structure in order for quality learning to take place.

Programs – Examine our curricular offerings for our students. Our curriculum and effective classroom learning environments have resulted in excellent ACT and SAT scores. There are many opportunities for our students and we believe that by providing quality opportunities for students, we are preparing them to grow and develop into Christian adults.

Thank you for considering Northland Christian School.
