Dear Northland Committed Parent,
This year, the Northland Board of Trustees will take the lead in making their pledge to the Annual Sharathon early in the campaign. Their purpose is to encourage swift closure of the gap in the operating budget. The goal is 100% participation by the board, faculty, staff and parents.
Historically, the level of commitment and interest our parents make to Northland is similar to the commitment they make to their children and families. We are hoping you will want to participate in Sharathon in such a way that giving is generous and more equally distributed among our families; lessening the burden too few families bear.
The reason for Sharathon is simple, as with most private schools, Northland’s tuition does not cover the entire cost of a quality education. Tuition covers only 92% of the cost. An annual campaign covers the difference. God’s providence and your generosity have made it possible to meet the needs of the operating budget at Northland each year since 1974.We are confident that this year is no exception to generous support.
This year’s budget gap is $225,000 at an average cost of $500 per family. We ask that you participate with a donation to help cover this budget shortfall for the 2012-2013 school year.
Your donation to Sharathon is private and personal, but we ask that you carefully consider the value of our standards, low student-to-teacher ratio, quality instruction and mentoring for spiritual principles that will stand the test of time.
Please complete your pledge card you received in the mail, or if you prefer, donations can be made online by clicking on the Star above.
Your financial gift makes our high quality program possible! May you be blessed in your giving this season.
Sincerely,
Kevin Roberts
