During the second semester, NCS Head of School, Mr. Daniel Woods will be presenting a series of presentations for parents, faculty, staff, secondary students and NW Houston community members.  Mr. Woods has extensive public speaking experience and has made similar presentation throughout the Midwest at public and private schools, prisons, ministry conferences and summer camps. He is excited about sharing this information with Northwest Houston.

These presentations will be open to the public and will be held on the Secondary Campus, Building 5, Room 500 beginning at 7 p.m.

An overview of the six major worldviews.
Moral relativism, postmodernism, cultural relativism and interventionism are just a few of the terms that are floating around in our society today. What do they mean?
In this presentation the basic components of a worldview will be presented. In addition a brief overview of the six major worldviews will be presented as well as the challenge to examine how a Christian is to think in a postmodern culture.

Mr. Woods has experience in public schools, private schools and with homeschooling and he will present the pro’s and con’s of each, as well as provide a practical and Biblical approach to making the right choice for the children that God has given to you.

In this presentation six competing worldviews will be presented. In addition, the 10 major life disciplines will be reviewed. (Philosophy, Biology, Psychology, Ethics, Sociology, Law, Politics, Economics, and History.) The challenge to think Biblically in all ten areas will be presented.
