NCS Theatre Arts
Theatre is a reflection of life. Developing an understanding of performance helps one understand the human condition, develops confidence, and develops personal and public communication. We believe that students posses talents, gifted to them from the Lord. Some students are gifted in performance, some in design, some in management, some in other areas. It is the goal of the NCS Theatre Arts Program to enable students to explore various theatrical elements to help each student discover their own gift so they can use it to their full potential.

This year we invite you to journey down the yellow brick road with Dorothy and her trio of companions in their search for The Wizard of Oz!
Not only is the cast full of stellar high school students, as always, but we’ve added some outstanding munchkins! The cast of 53 includes students from the 3rd grade to the 12th grade. Students began working on the show before school began and practice every afternoon. They have been working hard to learn the music and choreography, and it is paying off!
This year we have also teamed up with Klein Forest High School to bring you our production! The performances will be held just down the street from the secondary campus at the Klein Forest High School Auditorium. Students from the Klein Forest Band will be featured players in our orchestra pit. We are excited about the partnership and making new friends!
