NCS Jazz Ensemble is an intensive performing jazz environment that challenges student musicians at every level. Students are introduced to jazz composition representing a broad spectrum of world-wide jazz idioms and styles, including music theory and
underlying principles of composition. Due to the performance requirements of this course, auditions are required for all students who wish to register for Jazz Ensemble, whether new
or returning.
