John Cooper Track Meet

Super day at the Junior Dragon Relays for the Middle School Track team! 

Coach Carrie and Coach Lemm took 10 girls and 4 boys  to participate in the John Cooper track meet on Saturday, March 25.  With such a few, we weren't expecting too much, but the Cougars put in such good performances that the girls took 4th place overall and the boys took 5th place overall.

High point girl was Hannah Krob.  She placed 1st in the Triple Jump, 2nd in the 200M, 3rd in the Long Jump, 100M, and the 400M relay team.

Hannah performed personal bests in the Triple Jump, Long Jump and the 200M.  Congratulations to her!

High point boy was Keaton Hart.  He placed 1st in the Triple Jump and Long Jump, 3rd in the 100M, and 5th in the 200M.  Keaton jumped personal bests in the Triple Jump and Long Jump and set a school record for the MS boys Long Jump w/ a 16'7" jump.   WOW!!  Way to go Keaton.

Reid Tonking:  1^st - Shot put/ 3rd- Discus/ 4th- 110M hurdles

Liz Abt:  3^rd - 1600M relay/ 4th- 800M run

Hannah Davis: 3^rd - 1600M relay/ 5th- Long jump

Alexis Ewah: 3^rd - 400M relay

Brittany Flowers:  3^rd - 1600M relay/ 5th- 400M

Mycah Hatfield:  3^rd - Shot put

Amanda Hurvitz:  3^rd - 400M relay

Erika Martinez:  3^rd - 400M relay

Kailey Massey:  6^th - 300M hurdles

Emma Short:  3^rd - 2400M run/ 3rd- 1600M relay

DISTRICT TRACK MEET will be held at Northland on Tuesday, March 28.  Come out and cheer for the Cougars!
