The Lady Cougars showed a lot of fight in their first game back from spring break but came up short against a highly talented Second Baptist team. The Lady Cougar's defense played well all game giving up only one error but they simply could not get their offense going. Sophomore Ashley Sheffield did a great job on the mound by striking out four and allowing only 3 walks.
The Lady Cougars look to rebound from this loss quickly as they play Houston Christian today at home.
