The Lady Cougars fought hard on Tuesday but simply couldn’t hold off the offensive attack of the Lady Crusaders of Concordia Lutheran.  Offensively the Lady Cougars had a season high 9 hits in the game.  Leading the charge at the plate were Mary Lacy Knapp, Laura Ashley and Kelsey Hickman.  Each of these young ladies had two hits apiece, while Jessica Maddox, Brittany Flowers and Ashley Scott each added a hit apiece.  Defensively the Lady Cougars played well but committed three errors, each of which the Lady Crusaders took advantage of.  Although it was a hard fought game the Lady Crusaders came out on top with a score of 2 – 5.
