| The first goal scored by Caroline in the first half off a shot taken from inside the box. Then emery scored, we followed up with a drive to the goal and a solid shot taken by Taylor Hatley. Emery again came back with another goal. Emery was given a penalty kick and the shot was blocked by our goalie Tara! Since the game was tied we then went into two ten minute golden goal overtime periods. In the final overtime period Emily Herman scored the game winning goal! The game was a battle but our girls continued to fight and because of their perseverance, we came out with the victory! |
| NCS led the game 3 to 2 for the better part of the game. Those first two goals were scored by drives to the goal by Taylor Hatley and then he third was scored by a shot on goal by Emily Herman. In the last 15 minutes of the game John Cooper scored 3 goals to win the game. Final score was JC 5 NCS 3. |
| Our Cougars started out the game playing with intensity but John Cooper ended the first half two goals up on NCS. In the second half we had several hard shots on goal taken by Taylor, Emily and Dominique but unfortunately our shots did not end up in the back of the net. John Cooper counter attacked and scored another two goals to end the game. The Lady Cougars fought till the very end played with aggression, integrity, and heart! |
