NORTHLAND’S MATT KROB HONORED AS BUILT FORD TOUGH TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK October 27, 2006: Matt was named the "Built Ford Tough" Texas Private School Player of the Week for his 253 yard, 5 TD performance at last week's game and will be featured on Channel 55 "The Tube" Saturday evening. The Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week program honors one student-athlete in six of the state’s athletic classifications every week during the regular season for their accomplishments on and off the field.
The Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week program honors one student-athlete in six of the state’s athletic classifications every week during the regular season for their accomplishments on and off the field.
Students recognized by Ford and Scholastic Coach & Athletic Director magazine as the Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week have excelled in three categories:
• Individual performance on the field, including significant game statistics
• Contribution to the team’s success through individual leadership abilities
• Performance off the field, including academic success and good community citizenship
At the conclusion of the season, one student-athlete will be selected as the Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Year in each classification.
