A note from Coach Reaves:

What an absolutely beautiful, humid-free day for running! Hannah Davis exited the bus with a blanket wrapper around her and Taylor Chitty wore black tights to keep himself warm and toasty! Nice! We were finally blessed with true running weather. God provided a cool, crisp, fall breeze, with endless blue skies, and a hilly, shaded run, located in the heart of Houston running, Buffalo Bayou Park. This is my favorite meet, The Ramble, hosted by St. John’s School. The meet has tough competition and is a healthy challenge for our runners.

What I will remember about this meet is how many Cougar fans were present to encourage and cheer our runners. Many parents attended the meet and so did my wife and two girls, as well as my father (a.k.a. “GrandBob”). Thanks Dad for treating the team to the hot and healthy breakfast bar at Whole Foods Market! We enjoyed the best biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs and bacon in Houston. I appreciate so much our parents for the continual willingness to awake early and drive across town to support our runners. Your dedication and presence does not go unnoticed.
