A note from Coach Reaves:

God blessed Cougar Cross Country! God blessed us with a larger team, medals, multiple personal bests, and most importantly, three new Christians (Ashley, Ricky, and Alex). We grew both physically and spiritually! What an honor it was for me to be your coach. I will miss Caroline's prayers and playing “Tag” at Jesse H. Jones Park. In sum, I'm already pumped for next season.

I'm already thinking how to keep the momentum going forward for next season. Expect the bar to be raised again. I've received numerous requests for a Middle School Team in 2007 and would appreciate your prayers about this major step. I'm planning for a preseason as well, which may include a day trip to Barton Springs for some trail running and a recovery dip in the cold springs. Lord willing, I also hope to have some offseason runs next semester.

Please join me in discovering future talent and running passion on our campus. Make sure you continue running on your own. When you run, listen to music, pray, run with a partner, only make sure you maintain the physically and spiritually healthy habit of running. And when you finish your run, let's meet for a pastry at “La Mahuhdeen”.
