Please don’t ever make me coach another game so stressful. I think I lost a month of my life on this one. I will probably awake in the morning with acne. This time the shot we needed came from Mr. John Horsey. He reminds me of myself when I was his age. I use to be accused of showing too much intensity. My friends would take jabs at me for my heart and hustle. This is John Horsey, and is ferocious tenacity is what claimed the loose ball and convert on a tough shot. With seven seconds remaining I yelled at the team, “This game is NOT over, this game is NOT over!” We finished playing man-to-man and it was so exciting to watch our boys play defense with their feet and put their arms straight in the air to create a last desperate shot attempt by the opponent. The result was another hard-fought Cougar victory. The fans were treated to a true thriller!

The stats were all needed when the victory is only by one basket. John Horsey was the star of the game with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Again Keaton Hart had well-rounded stats with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 dimes. Robbie Dillard sunk a huge three-pointer and AJ Ortenstone converted on 6 point of his own. Every stat and basket was huge when the margin of success is so slim. I am so proud of our boys.
