The Cougars played in the championship game of the Prestonwood Christian tournament against Wakeland High School. The Coug's started off strong and were ahead 14-13 at the end of the 1st period, led by the accurate free throw shooting of Cameron Wilson and Shane Ward who combined for 6 of 6 from the line in the quarter. Royce Nickerson came off the bench in the second quarter to score 5 points and help the Cougars keep it close, but they fell behind the taller Wolverines, 38-32. The Cougars could only manage six 3rd quarter points as Wakeland took control of the game leading by 15 points at the end of the third period. The Cougars never gave up as they cut the Wakeland lead to 8 points at one time in the 4th period, but ended up on the short side of a 68-51 final score.The Cougars were led by the scoring and rebounding of Travis Lewis, who recieved all-tournament honors, Josh Dennison, and Royce Nickerson.
