The first game of the year for the Cougars was extremely exciting. The lead changed hands numerous times as the Cougars fought hard. Josh Dennison and Royce Nickerson provided the defensive pressure on the SATCH team while Korey Hart hit three 3's in the second quarter to give the Cougs a half time lead. Chad Darlan provided a big boost off the bench, both defensively and offensively for the Cougar's. In the end, the Cougar's pressure defense proved too much for the visiting SATCH team and Josh Dennison pulled down the final rebound with 2 seconds remaining to secure the victory. The Cougars had four players scoring in double figures: Korey Hart (12), Travis Lewis (11), Drew McConnell (10), and Cameron WIlson (10).
