The MS A team finished their season with an amazing game against Cypress Christian. This tournament game was going to send us to the Championships or home. 7 girls fought with all they had until the end. 2 girls fouled out. When the buzzer went off, Northland was short by 4 points, but no one was disappointed with the finish.
    During the regular season, we lost to Cypress by 10+ points. Going in on Saturday, we were short two starters and one of our starters was less that full force. I wasn't really sure what the girls would do. Our plan was to hold the ball, control the offense. The half-time score was 16 for CCS and 8 for NCS. The third quarter didn't do us much good either, but the girls came out pressing and shooting in the 4th and we outscored the Warriors 17-9! It was a game that will stay with those of us that were there for quite a while.
   Final score, 32-36. The Cougars finish the season 3rd in District and 3rd in the Tournament.
All 7 of the girls contributed to this win by scoring - Taryn Eubanks, 1, all the way up to leading scorers, Briona Chatman, 9, and Madison Flowers, 7. The coach can only say WOW!
