What an inspiring performance. Clearly the strategy was to hack Justin Jackson every time he touched the ball. He still led all scorers with 15 points, including 6 assists. Most importantly, Justin showed a Christ-like attitude during the beating with no calls. Keaton Hart produced the game of his young life! Keaton grabbed 14 rebounds with authority! He also had 12 points and 9 steals! He was one steal shy of a triple-double! Are you kidding me! We only play 6-minute quarters! Keaton was a monster on mission. His mission was to simply claim every rebound and anticipate every pass. What an unbelievable performance by Keaton Hart! Bradley Ward also contributed 8 rebounds of his own and Michael Pender quarterbacked the team with 6 points and four assists.
    This victory game us the tournament victory! We beat Rosehill earlier in the day and this was the championship game. We thoroughly and convincingly beat the host! The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Erik Castillo. After the game, instead of “One, two, three, Cougars!” we counted, “One, two, three, Castillo!” These boys honored the Lord with their play and again made Cougar Country proud!
