Another victory and more injuries! Wow, my team is taking a beating from opponents desperate to slow them down. Michael Pender sprained his shooting wrist and split his lip. Keaton Hart sprained his ankle and missed most of the game. The bench again contributed mightily extending our winning streak to 8 games! More impressive is a three game streak of 8 or more players scoring in a game. I love the total team production and unselfish play of these young men!
   Justin “Silky Smooth” Jackson again led all scorers with 16 points. More amazing is he ran point guard when Michael and Keaton went out injured. Justin immediately took on the mindset of a point guard dishing out 8 assists, mostly to A.J. Ortenstone in the first quarter. Justin did not even score in the first quarter, but A.J. “Lefty” Ortenstone scored a season high 10 points, compliments of Justin. Bradley Ward did not share his toys by stealing the ball from his opponent 8 times! Robbie Dillard contributed 4 important assists. Will Sheffield earned 4 rebounds by blocking out a young man much larger than him. I appreciate so much the heart and hustle Will shows and the prayers he leads for his team.
    These boys play with so much heart and energy. They are a joy to coach and I look forward to more victories!
