This game was truly a unique experience playing at the Toyota Center, home of the Rockets and Comets. The girls had a great time. All but one (Allison Gilbert, who is out with an injury) had a chance to play on the court and 10 of the 12 girls took at least one shot. The game, due to time restrictions, was composed of two 20 minute halves with a running clock. It would only stop on time outs. We came out strong in the 1st half outscoring TWCA (The Woodlands Christian Academy) 23-3. We were patient on offense hitting the cutter and taking open shots when we had them. The second half followed suit with the girls taking control early. The girls played well only committing 15 turnovers all game. The final score was 39-11 in favor of the Lady Cougars. The stats for this game were lower than normal due to the game running faster than the usual 8 minute periods. We shot 15 for 39 (38%) from the floor and 9 for 21 (43%) from the line. Lindsey led the team with 7 rebounds, Kate lead the team with 4 assists and 6 steals, and Bailee and Emily tied with 1 blocked shot a piece. Kate lead the team in scoring with 13 points and Bailee followed with 8.
