In our 2nd game vs. Northeast Christian, we had the desire, but our game wasn't there. This was mostly due to only practicing 1 day out of the last 5. Having Saturday off and the practices and games earlier this week being canceled due to the weather, we came out sluggish. We only pulled down 20 rebounds total and committed 34 turnovers. The good news is that we were able to slow NCA's offense down and held their leading scorer to 15 points. Lindsey, Karen and Bailee led the team with 4 rebounds each; Lindsey led with 3 assists, Karen and Bailee tied with 2 steals and Emily had 2 blocked shots. Lindsey led the team scoring 7 points and Bailee followed with 5 of her own.
    As a team, we shot 11 for 25 (44%) from the floor, 1 for 2 (50%) from 3 point range and a dismal 3 for 10 (30%) from the line. This brings our overall record to 14-8. We hope to stay undefeated in district play when we face the Eagles of Ft. Bend Baptist tonight.
