The 7G girls met the bigger, faster, stronger Houston Crusaders, but fared fairly well. This team of Homeschoolers were 8th graders, with the exception of one. However, the Junior Cougars played hard
and at the end lost 27-10. The 7G have alot of learning to do, but so much potential to do well and I look forward to watching them grow. Scoring for the Cougars were Tabitha Tillman, Sarah Steele, Christina Ball, and Cassie Robinson. |

12-22 |
| The 7G basketball team travelled to Trafton Academy for their first away game. The girls have some learning to do, but I see possibilities! With one 8th grader, five 7th graders, and four 6th graders on the team, we have a mix of experienced and rookie players. Trafton was well coached and the Cougars suffered defeat, 22-12. Putting the points on the board were: Tabitha Tillman, 8, Sarah Steele, 3, and Savannah Rangel, 1. |

| The Cougars hosted the Lady Eagles of Fort Bend Baptist and fell a little short according to the score, but such improvement is being seen, I do not see us a losing. The rebounding was so much better! The scoring was taken care of by Tabitha Tillman and Sarah Steele. |

| Two weeks off and the Junior Cougars totally forgot how to play basketball! There was one bright and shining star and that was Paige Cornwell. She was the leader in rebounds and steals. Northland fell to CHSA, a home school group from Alvin, 31-5. |

16-21 |
| What a comeback the Junior Cougars pulled off in the Ft. Bend Baptist game! NCS was down 8 pts. at the beginning of the 4th quarter and fought back by scoring 10 pts. This tied the game and for the first time the girls played in overtime! Came up a little short there and the final score was 21-16, Ft. Bend Baptist. Great strides are being made w/ this team. Leading scorers were Christina Ball, Savannah Rangel, and Sarah Steele. Leading in the rebound category were Tabitha Tillman and Cassie Robinson. |

34-20 |
| Looked like we had two different teams tonight! In the 1st half, the 7G came out slow and scored only 3 points. In the second half, a seemingly new team arrived on the floor and we scored 17 pts! Much better passing and teamwork allowed the girls to get into the game. Due to the poor showing in the first half, we were unable to overcome a lead and the final score was 34-20. But if you had only seen the last 12 minutes, the score would have been 17-17. Leading scorers: Sarah Steele, Summer Petro. Leading rebounder: Sarah Steele, Cassie Robinson. Leading steals: Savannah Rangel, Summer Petro |

19-22 |
| The 7th grade girls finished their season at CCCS with a close game. The Warriors have picked up a new 7th gr. girl. She came in late to the game and took our lead away! We finished w/ a score of 19-22. Our overall record was 4-9. Unfortunately, that does not tell you how well the team really did. Half of our losses were less than 5 points! And such improvement was seen from the beginning to the end. Leading scorers were Tabitha Tillman, 80 pts./ Sarah Steele, 56 pts./ and Savannah Rangel, 33. |
