The 2004 Cougars completed their season with a 13-12 record, making their 18th trip to the TAPPS state playoffs. NCS bombed St. Gerard's in the first round of playoffs, but fell
to Baytown Christian 5-3 in the second round. The Cougars were led by first team all-district selections Richard Fangmeier, Dustin Koctar, Sean Levy, and Jon-Micah Milbourn. Making second team were Ryan Steele, Chris Trahan, Jack Montgomery, and Jeff Abt. The Cougars graduate five senior starters, but will return a solid nucleus to make a lot of noise in our new district TAPPS 5 - 5A.
