2/27 Austin-MacCullum - The Cougars again dug a hole early but this time were unable to make another comeback attempt. One of the Cougars 2 hits was a triple by Joe Cate.
2/28 Huffman- Shaky defense late ruined a solid start by Kyle Serres. In his first start of the season, Serres struck out 7 in 5-innings allowing only 1 earned run. Joe Cate and Stuart Trahan had back to back triples in the 3rd inning.

Bend would tie it up 4-4 to send the game to extra innings. That's when the Cougar bats awakened to score 5 runs in the 8th inning. Each run proved to be important as the Cougars had to hold off a Ft. Bend attack in the bottom of the 8th. Matt Sinclair and Kyle Serres led the offensive attack with 3 hits each. Siix different Cougars scored including Trevor Winne who scored three times. Sinclair, Shane Knight and Dillon Hendrix all had doubles and while Winne also added a triple.
